It is crucial that leaders at every level rise to the challenges of today and tomorrow. Today's leaders are facing a much different set of challenges than they did in the past. According to Vantage Circle, approximately 18% of middle managers suffer from chronic depression.
The purpose of this research is to examine what challenges middle managers face in these modern working practices, as they are the only individuals in a company who are required to manage both up and down (top executives and direct reports). Through this research, I hope to understand and share with all what enabled them to succeed as well as the challenges they face to achieve success.
